Aegis (7th legion craft)

Roughly 220 meters long, and 70 meters wide, the Aegis is a solid craft. A very solid design, shielded by a hybrid tripple shield which, rather than absorbing impacts, focuses on deflecting and softening the hits instead.

The Aegis has two shields: An "oval" sheild, a spiralling gravitational shield which throws kinetics off course while slowing them down, a phasic screen and a pulsed "hard" shield layer. The second shield is a network of complicated devices which are to deflect and slow down impacts further before it has a chance to get to the plates.

While this shielding concept may sound crude, it is a very practical and proven design - most lasers and kinetic weapons will simply go around the crafts, or be slowed and weakened down considerably before it has a chance to impact the actual layer below it. The phasic component of the shielding not only blocks attempted teleportation, but distort a wide range of weapon types. The Aegis are armed in a way to allow them to give a serious pounding regardless of facing, but can cause some extreme damage. 

To make matters worse, their designs is built to aid in impacts bouncing off easier, especially from frontal impacts. Highly mobile and able to teleport, those ships may seem small and fairly harmless at first sight, they are not to be understimated.
