Description
The Sharad S1 Battle Tank is a multipurpose tank built with the early findings of halcyon technological engineering, which allowed to the tank a very efficient energy usage, and a very high mobility, with the use of a thick, kevlar like mass production material armoring which happened to be as efficient as regular armor for 2/3rds of regular armor mass and weight, effectively making it more solid. The material is yet unnamed, but is found to absorb Aurum and as such mana, or "magic", effectively making the S1 a battle tank of fair firepower, good mobility, good livability and surprisingly low maintenance.
The battletank's turret is able to aim in 360, and the point defense are dual, fast firing thermic laser which are designed to force infantries in cover, and shoot down slow moving projectile.
This battletank's body frame is designed upon a copy of a halcyon tank frame, a modular body design which allows for very quick refit for purpose, and due to its incredibly modular yet compact design, the tank can keep functioning even while critically damaged at full capacity. It's only current downside is the engine, which employs fuel, although very efficiently
In the year 2461, with the awakening of the halcyon techpriest guild, the S1 Sharad tank is reviewed and further improved by a techpriest named Memphis, clocking the tank's max speed at 90 KMh, furthering the modability and swapping the diesel engine for a liquid hydrogen fusion engine which increased the livability further, as well as effective usage tank. The S1 Sharad tank remains, through it's time of use a tank renown for being able to outmaneuver tanks of its size, and outrun which it couldn't outgun, leaving it to be a battletank very sought after for it's mixed Elvish, Halcyon and human engineering, but never entered the market, leaving very little of them out of their faction use.
The tank comes in various models and variants, and revisions.
This is the main version, the first, the S1 Sharad tank, named after the planet taken by the AMF as their seat of power, Sharadaa, renamed Sharda.
