Kraken

The Kraken is a halcyon land cruiser. A mobile frontal unit which is armed with a wide array of fusion missiles and four turrets where each sports two high powered pulsed mass accelerators and two long range particle projection cannons, and a very complicated array of sensory, processing and communication equipment. Able to house up to 6 halcyon soldiers, this unit is both sea, air, ground and space worthy. Often used as outpost, listening post or mobile defence, and a wide range of other tactical tasks, the Kraken is fairly mobile despite it's size, and sports very powerful shielding which it can use to shield it's allies.

These units also sport medical bays and nanotech repair arrays, furthering it's frontline effectiveness as a support role.

The unit, while able to shield some enormous bombardment, cannot do so from all angles - it's shielding effectively tightening at attacked areas. This makes flanking manoevers very effective, because the Kraken's armoring is mostly 80mm and quite badly angled at many areas.
