Determination

All things come to an end. 
The knowledge you gain. The friends you have made. The riches. But there is one thing which won't leave - the things you have done which will affect others after your leave.
And it all comes down to determination.

Determination to, no matter how hard, get through all things before you to get to where you are needed. Whether it means losing yourself. Those around you. Your very body and soul.

This is what it takes for a Halcyon to become a lich - an undead, driven by a greater purpose, and nothing else. Immortal life is a torment - especially for a Halcyon. Seeing all they love and care for fade away. And as time passes, even forgetting themselves, as they press onward to their purpose - eventually even forgetting how and why they became as they are, or what their purpose even is. To the point where they don't even remember why they cry, or what their name even is.

But all things are priced, and the Halcyon lich present unparalleled wisdom and power - having the very strong willpower needed to bend the elements around them, and to force the very essence of their long since gone souls to remain upon their crystalline shell. Harvesting and storing energy as every second passes, growing more and more potent, and carefully storing and managing their knowledge until the time comes.

But some have more determination than others. Some can reshape their flesh. Some even kept their souls and entirety of their memories. But some also broke a long time ago, turning into enraged psyonic or chaotic anomalies or aberrations, some even losing themselves far enough to use their power to harm others for their own gains.

Suffice to say, the Halcyons' own "magic" capabilities and potential is the very thing which scares them from using it. A power which consumes all which uses it.

This one is named Determination. A rather strange individual, who spends his time with others reciting terrible puns and jokes, but who is always there to help and protect those around him. He lost his right arm a long time ago, and uses his aura to hold things instead.

Determination has very strong soul magic, necromancy and psychic force, and beside his terrible humour and near lazy demeanor, is a very fierce tactician.
