Description
The ASU, or Air Siege Unit, is based on the Viper logistical Vtol. Trading it's huge carrying potential for a light propulsed fusion shell artillery gun, the ASU is a tyrant of the battlefield. She's relatively fast, cheap, and carries a gun which outranges any tank - but typically reaches shorter than other artilleries and self propelled dedicated guns.
The ASU can be deployed in numbers of 4 to 12, send behind enemy lines, and are able to lay a painful siege. Their guns are surgically accurate, relatively fast, fire fusion explosive shells, and will hit and wreck any target before they are seen.
ASUs are not without their weaknesses however.
An armor which will not survive AA or anti vehicle weapons. No other form of weapons beside the artillery gun, and having a shorter range than other artillery vehicles, the ASU's main strentghs are it's mobility and firepower.
The weapon fires it's payload using laser propulsion. By altering the intensity of the laser and the firing arc, the unit can assess and calculate for surgical accuracy.
The cannon is a 120mm caliber. The fusion shells have an explosive radius of 15 meters, and any target caught in the no survival zone (4 meter) will be vaporised.

I love everything about this thing, and my only complaint is the dorsal cannon. It doesn't look like it'd be able to move without colliding with the rudders (Is that the right terminology? I can't remember.).
